Purpose and scope of the project:

The aim of the project is to improve the reloading capacity of the BCT - Baltic Container Terminal by 150,000 TEU through the purchase of modern reloading and transport equipment, as well as to adapt the reloading capacity of the Terminal to handle container vessels of up to 25,000 TEU. Implementation of the project will include the purchase of equipment: 2 MHC mobile harbour cranes, 2 STS quay cranes, 8 RTG cranes, 16 terminal tractors, 21 terminal trailers, 2 RMG container spreaders, 4 RTG container spreaders, 1 reachstacker, 1 heavy forklift, 4 ro-ro tractors.

The project was supported under investment E2.1.3 “Intermodal projects” of the National Recovery Plan.

The applicant and entity responsible for the implementation and execution of the project is BCT -Baltic Container Terminal Ltd.
